Aldo Giampaolo is the new general manager of Cirque du Soleil’s new business unit Theatre Shows; he will manage operations and develop commercial activities of this new unit. “The new approach taken by Cirque du Soleil immediately piqued my interest," he said. "It meshes perfectly with my desire to create international-scale projects by means of a quality-focused creative process.”

Cirque du Soleil recently entered into a partnership with Clear Channel Entertainment to create a series of arena concerts, which will kick off next winter and visit 100 North American cities. Giampaolo and his team will manage the partnership; he will be supported by Kiki Nesbitt as executive producer, who has worked with the organization for 12 years.
