AUSTIN, TX (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Austin-based entertainment company Direct Events has announced the addition of industry veteran Greg Henry to their team as chief operating officer at the company.
Henry comes equipped with 13 years of experience in booking and managing artists such as as Pat Green and Cross Canadian Ragweed and has promoted events featuring artists like Gary Allan, Dierks Bentley, Robert Cray, LIT, Buckwheat Zydeco and many more.
Also making the jump to direct events with Henry is the Zack Walther Band, who will be managed under a newly-launched artist management division at Direct Events.
O'Connor will step back and become a 'promoter emeritus' at Direct Events, while still remaining a decision maker. Henry will take over the day to day venue operations and event booking.
