COPENHAGEN, Denmark (CelebrityAccess) — Danish alt-rockers Mew announced that longtime guitarist Bo Madsen was exiting the band.
The remaining members, Jonas Bjerre (lead vocals), Johan Wohlert (bass) and Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen (drums) are staying with the band and they announced that Mads Wegner would be joining them to step in for the departing Madsen on guitar.
No reason for Madsen's departure was not stipulated in the band's announcement.
Mew is preparing for a 16 date tour of the U.S., starting at North Park Theatre in San Diego on Sept. 17th. – Staff Writers
