DALLAS, TX (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Rumors have been rampant in Texas regarding the future of the legendary Gypsy Tea Room, as many are insisting the troubled venue will be closing its doors on March 31st.
The venue filed for bankruptcy in December, and has been uncertain of its plans since.
Gypsy Tea Room owner Whit Meyers told the Dallas Morning News that the future of the Deep Ellum music club is definitely questionable. “We’ll continue having concerts through March, and beyond that, the future is uncertain.”
Local news channel CBS11 first reported the March 31st closing, pointing out that many shows on the docket had already been moved to other venues.
A representative from Charles Attal Presents told the Pegasus News that the club will stay open through the end of March, but that all future shows would be happening at other various venues in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
