Hamburg's Reeperbahn Festival Set To Fly

HAMBURG (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Reeperbahn Festival is set to make a return triumphant to the city of Hamburg from September 27 to the 29th. After a successful first run last year which saw two hundred bands playing on 20 stages around the city to more than 10,000 fans, festival organizer Karsten Jahnke is banking on this year being even bigger.

Although the lineup is a little smaller for this year's event, it remains both eclectic and provocative, featuring a diverse lineup of both internationally known and up-and-coming acts including The Raveonettes, Coheed & Cambria, Jennifer Rostock, My Brightest Diamond, Juliette & The Licks, Die Mannequin and 1000 Robota to name a few.

Held at numerous venues around the city, including Angie's Nightclub, D-Club, Große Freiheit 36, Grünspan, Kaiserkeller, Knust, Mandarin Kasino, Molotow, Prinzenbar, Schmidts Tivoli, Spielbudenplatz, Uebel & Gefährlich and Turmzimmer tickets for this year's Reeperbahn will cost $75 dollars for a three day pass.

Jahnke is likely hoping his festival will get a boost as it comes hot on the heels of a trio of Lotto King Karl dates, marking the end of the Summer concert series at Hamburg's Stadtpark, an event that has become the highlight of Hamburg's summer music scene, regularly attracting more than 100,000 fans.
