(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Sydney-based concert promoter Michael Jacobsen was named CEO of Arena Management last week. Arena runs the 12,400-capacity Sydney Entertainment Center and the 2,000-capacity Capitol Theater in Sydney.
A native Australian, Jacobsen is also executive director of Jacobsen Entertainment and Jacobsen Venue Management. He is also the major shareholder of Arena Management and sits on the boards of five Australian venues, as well as New Zealand’s Auckland City Arena, which is currently being developed by Jacobsen Venue Management with a planned opening in February 2006. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
