KYOTO, Japan (CelebrityAccess) — Pop singer-songwriter Aska was arrested and charged with allegedly using illegal stimulants in violation of his suspended 2014 prison sentence.

The 58-year-old Aska, whose real name is Shigeaki Miyazaki, is best known for his work as part of the music duo Chage and Aska and has penned hit songs such as "Morning Moon", "Love Song", "Say Yes", and "Meguriai".

In 2014, Aska was prosecuted for possession of 100 tablets of MDMA (also known as Ecstasy) which he allegedly purchased from an acquaintance in Sumiyoshi-kai, the second largest Yakuza organization in Japan.
