LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Jerry Lewis will perform for the first time in more than six years at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas this summer, Reuters reported. Lewis has been booked for a 4 night gig from July 13-16.
His old act featured a variety of comedy from singing and monologue to pratfalls, but his revised act is likely to be less physically demanding "We don't know what kind of show he's doing" his publicist Candi Cazau told Reuters.
Lewis also is planning the return of his annual labor day telethon for muscular dystrophy this year on September 3 & 4.
Lewis, who spent three months in the hospital being treated for pulmonary fibrosis, was released in January and has been undergoing rehabilitation. "He's down to 176 pounds" said Cazau "He took off every pound from that damned prednisone." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers.
