OMAHA, NE (CelebrityAccess) — Rapper Lil Wayne is reportedly hospitalized, but in stable condition after suffering what his publicist described as two seizures on Monday.
According to TMZ, Wayne's private jet was forced to make two emergency landings at the city's airport on Monday. Dennis Messina, an operations supervisor at Omaha's Eppley Airfield, told the Associated Press that Wayne refused treatment after his plane landed at the airport after declaring a medical emergency. After refueling, the plane took off, but again landed after the pilot declared a second medical emergency.
Derek Sherron, publicity director of The Chamber Group, told the Associated Press that Lil Wayne, the stage name of Dwayne Carter, was under the care of two doctors and was in good spirits.
In 2013, Wayne was hospitalized in Los Angeles after sufferign seizures, subsequently telling a Los Angeles radio station that he was epileptic. – Staff Writers
