LONDON (VIP-NEWS) — Morrissey has left his manager Merck Mercuriadis and joined ie:music, the British management firm which guides the career of Robbie Williams.
The former Smiths singer will now be managed on a global basis by Josie Cliff, who heads-up the firm's U.S. division ie:west, and by ie's founders Tim Clark and David Enthoven.
The news, confirmed in a two-sentence press release issued today, confirms the British singer's split with manager Merck Mercuriadis, the former CEO of now-defunct Sanctuary U.S.
Founded in 1992 by Clark and Enthoven, ie:music represents a small roster of artists, including Sia, Craig Armstrong, Passenger, Archive and the Asteroids Galaxy Tour.
