BARBADOS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Michael Cohl, is apparently man about Barbados. The recent departure of Michael Cohl from Live Nation's board necessitated the filing of an 8-K with the SEC. Among the details of this filing, are the amendments to the service agreement Cohl signed with Live Nation in 2007, paving the way for him to provide "consulting" services to Live Nation for the next 4 years.
Most of the compensation sections of Cohl's contract appear to have been amended off into the ether but the 8-K did stipulate that Mr. Cohl will be provided with a single lump sum of $4.5 million.
The filing also revealed that Mr. Cohl is a resident of sunny Barbados and perhaps in acknowledgement of the increasing cost of travel, Cohl will be allowed to perform all required consulting from the comfort of that tropical isle. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
