For five days, 8,600 participants, 4,006 companies, from a total of 92 countries, focused on business. 2,140 companies exhibited (an increase of 8% versus last year) on 325 stands. Once again Midem was the unbeatable rendez-vous where both celebs and industry leaders gathered. More than 70 artists and bands gave top notch performances and 160 speakers from all over the world shared their expertise with participants.
Midem 2003 widened the scope of its conferences: almost all territories were covered, including emerging markets; issues related to different music styles were tackled (including Urban music); speakers came from every corner of the industry, all over the world: rights societies representatives from China, label owners from the US, Europe, Asia, executives from IT companies… and even artists!
