WARSAW, Poland (CelebrityAccess) — Morrissey reportedly walked off stage during a show at the Stodola Club in Warsaw, apparently after someone in the audience heckled him.
Media reports stated that Morrissey was just 25 minutes into his set when someone in the audience made a caustic remark. A distressed Morrissey responded, saying, "Is that funny, that wasn't very nice."
Later, during a guitar solo, Moz walked off stage, and didn't come back, despite the audience chanting for him to return.
In a statement posted on their Facebook page, Live Nation's Poland office said that Morrissey had been forced to leave because of "extremely offensive and chauvinistic words." They offered anyone present at the Warsaw gig free admittance to the following night's concert in Kraków. – Staff Writers
