Neil Young Takes Exception To Trump's Music Choices

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Donald Trump managed to get on rocker Neil Young's band side, after using Young's "Rockin' in the Free World" in a campaign appearance without first securing Young's permission.

"Donald Trump was not authorized to use 'Rockin' In The Free World' in his presidential candidacy announcement," said an official statement from Young's rep. "Neil Young, a Canadian citizen, is a supporter of Bernie Sanders for President of the United States of America."

Trump used the song when he took the stage at Trump Tower in New York on Tuesday to announce the latest in a series of presidential bids.

The song, a sharp critique of George H.W. Bush's administration and its perceived lack of regard for America's poor seems like a somewhat tone deaf choice for the billionaire candidate. – Staff Writers
