When the September 11 terrorist attack took out the World Trade Center in lower Manhattan, the discount theater ticket booth TKTS was also destroyed as it was located at 2 World Trade Center. A new temporary home has been found at Bowling Green Park Plaza, opposite 2 Broadway, at the southern tip of Manhattan.
The Theatre Development Fund's discount booth sells tickets to Broadway, Off-Broadway, dance and music events out of a 20-foot trailer.
