LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — UK rockers Oasis have signed on with Activision to include some of their music in the upcoming sequel to the smash hit video game Guitar Hero.
Set to come out on October 26th, Guitar Hero World Tour will expand on the initial premise with a newly redesigned guitar controller, drum kit controller and a microphone, as well as a Music Studio music creator that lets players compose, record, edit and share their own rock 'n' roll anthems. Music creators will also be able to share their recordings with their friends online through GHTunesSM where other gamers can download and play an endless supply of fan-created content.
Oasis is joining the long list of bands to contribute to the Guitar Hero soundtrack and the game will feature "Bag it Up," "Waiting for the Rapture" and the hit first single "The Shock of the Lightning""Bag it Up," "Waiting for the Rapture" and the hit first single "The Shock of the Lightning" from the band's seventh studio album. The Oasis Track Pack will be available on November 6th for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 . In addition, the three tracks will be released as single downloadable songs for both systems.
