NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After shattering attendance records during last year’s inaugural tour, Opie & Anthony’s Traveling Virus comedy tour is returning for a second year. With even more comedians and dates than the 2006 tour, this promises to be another record-breaking summer.
Famed radio jocks Opie & Anthony host an evening of the biggest names in comedy, complete with all the antics fans have come to love about the radio show. The Traveling Virus tour will be making stops in Long Island (NY), Uncasville (CT), Boston, Detroit, Washington, D.C., Holmdel (NJ), and Camden (Philadelphia). The Traveling Virus tour kicked off in Las Vegas on April 14 at the Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. An afternoon press conference announced the long-awaited dates and lineups for the 2007 tour.
Confirmed artists for the tour include Bob Saget, Carlos Mencia, Frank Caliendo, Lewis Black, Louis C.K., Otto & George, Rich Vos, Robert Kelly, Stephen Lynch, Patrice O’Neal and the third mic on the radio show as well as a fan favorite, Jim Norton.
