SALEM,Oregon (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — In an effort to boost event attendance, concert organizers are planning to offer people who purchase concert tickets to to events at the Oregon State Fair will also receive free admission to the fair itself.
According to a report in the Statesman Journal, the change is being implemented in response to complaints about ticket costs to events at the fair.
"The most important thing to us is that the concert-goers see a value — you get the most for your dollar," Penny Williams, the talent coordinator for the fair told the Statesman Journal.
Tickets go on sale beginning on June 16th and must be purchased before August 23rd to be eligible for the promotion. The fair itself runs from August 24 – Sept. 3rd.
Some of the performers featured at this year's fair will include The All-American Rejects, Heart, John Kay & Steppenwolf, Chris Daughtry and others. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
