WHISTLER, B.C. (CelebrityAccess) — The Pemberton Music Festival doesn't seem to have any issues with the increasingly competitive North American festival market after wrapping up this year's event with record attendance figures.
According to festival organizers, the four-day music and camping festival drew approximately 45,000 fans per day for a total of 180,000 from Thursday through Sunday, topping all previous attendance numbers for the festival in its admittedly short three-year run.
Produced and promoted by Huka Entertainment, the British Columbia-based music fest featured a lineup that included Pearl Jam, The Killers, J. Cole, Snoop Dogg, The Chainsmokers, Kaskade, DJ Snake, Ice Cube, Cheech and Chong, and Maria Bamford, among numerous others.
"A heartfelt thanks to our amazing fans and the incredible artists for bringing our festival to life, and helping further establish Pemberton Music Festival as a world-class event in one of the most stunning locations on Earth," says Huka Entertainment's Co-Founder and Chief Experience Officer, A.J. Niland. – Staff Writers
