LOS ANGELES, CA (CelebrityAccess) —Grammy-winning global superstar Pharrell Williams, platinum recording artist, songwriter and producer Mike Posner, and Academy Award – nominated composer and conductor John Debney will be among the music and entertainment industry figures to be honored at this year's Songs of Hope XII charity event.
Songs of Hope is an annual gala that brings together people in the entertainment world who are working to further research into preventing cancer, HIV/AIDS, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. The event will feature a silent auction and the CharityBuzz.com auction to raise money for research at City of Hope, an independent biomedical research institution and cancer treatment center.
The event is again co-chaired by David Renzer, Chairman of Spirit Music Group; Doug Davis Founder/Principal of The Davis Firm; Evan Lamberg, President – North America, Universal Music Publishing Group; and Steve Schnur, President, Music of Electronic Arts.
