RCA Records Taps John Fleckenstein As EVP


NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — RCA Records announced that veteran label exec John Fleckenstein has been named as Executive Vice President, of RCA Records. Fleckenstein will report to Tom Corson, President and COO, RCA Records and will be based in the company’s New York headquarters.

Fleckenstein will be responsible for overseeing the Marketing, Digital Marketing and Video Production departments at RCA Records, as well as be the label’s Senior Executive responsible for partnering with the centralized functions of Creative, Sales and International staff assigned to RCA projects.

Prior to his new post at RCA, Fleckenstein did a turn as Executive Vice President, International Marketing for Sony Music. While there, he helped to oversee international campaigns by worldwide superstars such as Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, P!nk, Miley Cyrus, Daft Punk, Foo Fighters and Pharrell, among others.

Fleckenstein began his career as a College Radio Representative for Ruffhouse Records in Philadelphia. Upon graduating university, he began at Arista Records in 1998, overseeing successful campaigns for artists such as Whitney Houston and Santana.

Fleckenstein graduated from University of Michigan with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. – Staff Writers
