WERCHTER, Belgium (VIP-NEWS) — The last few tickets for Belgian festival Rock Werchter were sold Thursday afternoon. That means that Rock Werchter 2012 is now completely and officially sold out.
The organizers expect 85,000 festivalgoers each day. Of these, 67,000 have a combi-ticket and will be there for the full four days. In addition, 18,000 day tickets have been sold for each day.
Rock Werchter can confirm a new attendance record this year. A total of 139,000 unique visitors will join the festival.
81 artists are to perform including The Cure, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Editors, Elbow, dEUS, Jack White, The xx, Mumford & Sons, Snow Patrol and Florence + the Machine.
