Rocket Music Launches Joint Venture With Black Fox

LONDON (VIP-NEWS) — Sir Elton John’s artist management and music company Rocket Music has announced a joint venture with Black Fox Management.

The partnership sees Rocket Music, who represents Elton John, Ed Sheeran, Anne-Marie and 2Cellos, add Rag’N’Bone Man to their roster. His debut album Human (Best Laid Plans/Columbia) has now sold 2 million copies worldwide.

The joint venture was exclusively revealed in this week’s issue of Music Week.

Black Fox was launched in 2013 by Polly Comber and Josh Smith. As well as Rag’N’Bone Man, their management roster includes Bnann, Ghostwriter and Balcony. Previous clients include Bastille.

Rocket Music’s CEO Julian Wright said: “We are in a unique position at Rocket. Elton’s career has spanned 50 years of recording and touring and has seen sales of over 250 million albums. That brings a great deal of experience and infrastructure to our organisation but Elton’s passion for new and talented artists and their music remains at the forefront. We are very pleased to welcome Black Fox Management and their artists into the family.”

Black Fox Management’s Josh Smith said: “When we decided to look for a partner to develop our business further Rocket were top of our list. Elton has been hugely supportive of Rag’N’Bone Man’s career for a long time and when we met with the broader team at Rocket we all just instantly clicked.”

Comber added: “Not only do we all feel this is the right move to support the careers of our global artists, it will also provide new opportunities to develop and break the next wave of exciting talent.”
