LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Nederlander Concerts announced on Tuesday that veteran talentbuyer Shane Shuhart has returned to the fold to serve as Senior Director of Talent, effective immediately.
Shuhart's new portfolio includes assisting the booking team on programming venues across the U.S., as well as Nederlander's the venues in Nederlander's West Coast operation, including Hollywood Pantages, City National Civic of San Jose, City National Grove of Anaheim, Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles, Papa Murphy’s Park at Cal Expo in Sacramento and Statesman Skyline Theater at the Long Center in Austin, along with third- party facilities.
Shuhart's previous stint as Director of Talent at Nederlander was from 2008 to 2011. More recently, he did a stint as talent buyer for Live Nation Entertainment’s Philadelphia office where he booked shows for Live Nation’s owned and operated amphitheaters, arenas, and other third-party venues throughout the Pennsylvania and the New Jersey region.
He also oversaw booking for the Sands Bethlehem Event Center, The Pavilion at Montage, and the Peach Music Festival.
Shuhart began his career at the Agency for the Performing Arts (APA) in New York and became the territorial talent agent for APA’s northeast region, when he moved to Los Angeles. – Staff Writers
