ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess) — Police say multiple gunshots were fired into two tour busses carry Lil Wayne and his entourage on a Georgia highway following a show in Atlanta, but fortunately, no one was injured.
According to Reuters, the pre-dawn shooting occurred on Interstate 285 near the junction of Interstate 75, northwest of Atlanta. Witnesses told police that the shots were fired from a white car that was also on the highway.
A police spokesperson told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that there were two suspect vehicles involved, possibly a sports car and a sport utility vehicle, both white. Police are investigating but don't currently have any suspects or a motive for the shooting.
