CHICAGO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Saxaphone legend Sonny Rollins has been forced to cancel several upcoming concert appearances, citing illness.
In a post on his website, a post read: "I’ve come up with a respiratory problem, and I have to cancel some upcoming shows. My doctor has given me the green light for June. Please check my web site for my new dates."
Affected dates include a May 1st date at the Wharton Center in East Lansing which no makeup date has been announced for; and a March 29th date at the Chicago Symphony Center, which has been rescheduled to Sept. 13th.
An April 20th date at Valley Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles is not listed on Rollins' website but still listed at the venue as a go. A representative for the venue said they were not aware of any cancelations. – CelebrityAccess staff writers
