SVP’s Promotions For RCA/Jive Label Group


NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Adrian Moreira has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Adult Music, RCA Music Group. Moreira previously held the title of Vice President, Adult Music, RCA Music Group. Moreira will continue to direct the label’s radio promotion efforts to all adult radio formats including Adult Top 40, Mainstream AC and AAA. He continues to report to Richard Palmese, EVP Promotion, RCA Music Group and is based in the company’s New York headquarters.


Moreira has been with RCA for the past decade beginning his tenure as Senior Director, Modern Adult, culminating in his current role at the label. While at RCA he has worked with a diverse mix from the label’s roster including Christina Aguilera, Kings of Leon, Sarah McLachlan, Dave Matthews Band, Kelly Clarkson and Leona Lewis among others.


Before RCA, Moreira held positions at London/Sire working up to Senior Director, Promotion. Previously, he worked at Geffen Records assuming various sales and marketing roles. Moreira kicked off his music career in the early nineties within Sony Music Distribution.

In addition, Bill Burrs has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Rock Music Promotion, RCA/JIVE Label Group. He previously held the title of Vice President, Rock Music Promotion, RCA Label Group. In his new role, Burrs will be responsible for promoting acts to rock radio from both the RCA and JIVE labels. Bill will continue to report to Richard Palmese, EVP, Promotion, RCA Music Group as well as Joe Riccitelli, EVP, Promotion, JIVE Label Group. Burrs is based in the company’s New York headquarters.

Burrs began his career at RCA as Senior Director, Rock Promotion in 1999. During his tenure here, he co-signed My Morning Jacket, working closely with multi-platinum Foo Fighters and Kings of Leon as well as the now-seminal band The Strokes, aiding in the success of those bands. Prior to his RCA stint, he worked his way up from a Chicago regional to Senior Director, Rock & Alternative Promotion at Geffen Records where he worked with such acts as Nirvana, Counting Crows, Beck, Hole and Rob Zombie among others.
