NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Def Jam Recordings today announced the promotion of Tab Nkhereanye to Senior Vice President, A&R.
Nkhereanye has been with Def Jam since 2014 and was responsible for the signings of and creative direction of Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara and JAHKOY, who is set to debut on Def Jam later this year.
Nkhereanye began his career in music in 2006, based in Atlanta as an A&R Consultant for Bug Music/BMG. In 2009, he relocated to Los Angeles where he joined Sony/ATV Music Publishing as Vice President, A&R. He has written hits for Destiny's Child, Mary J.
