TBA Global Events Acquires PGI

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) —
Effective July 25, TBA Global Events, a leader in corporate events and lifestyle marketing, acquired all the assets of event agency Production Group International (PGI), assuming the entire operation of the Washington, DC based company. The acquisition of PGI is expected to increase the annual revenue of the company to the range of $175 million and allows TBA Global Events to expand its client base to Canada and Europe. The company will remain headquartered in Southern California.

Since 2004, when TBA Global Events was acquired by entertainment industry executive Robert Geddes and JHW Greentree Capital LLC (an affiliate of Whitney & Co., LLC) and industry mogul Irving Azoff, the company has experienced substantial growth with the production of such keystone events as Herbalife's 25th Anniversary Extravaganza, 2005 Presidential Inaugural Youth Day Event and SAP Sapphire 2005. TBA has successfully built a roster of top US companies including SAP, Intel, Bristol Myers Squibb, Herbalife, Hospira among others.

" The merger of TBA Global Events with PGI creates a company with multiple product offerings, an expanded team of talented staff and capabilities that can be matched by few," said Geddes, CEO, TBA Global Events. "This transaction is consistent with the growth strategy outlined for our company from the very beginning."

Founded in 1990, PGI has been responsible for more than 2,500 events annually throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. PGI developed five areas of expertise – Creative and Production Services, Interactive Services, Exhibition Services, Meeting Services and Destination Services. Their client roster includes Exxon Mobil, Ford, IBM, Aventis, Nestle Foods and Anheuser Busch among others. — Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
