WINNIPEG, Manitoba (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Crews have been unloading crates of U2's road gear at the Burton Cummings Theater, leading to speculation that the band may be planning a to film a video ahead of their May 29th gig at Canad Inns Stadium.
An unnamed source close to the band told the Winnipeg Free Press that their was a "strong possibility" that the band would use the space to rehearse and potentially shoot portions of a documentary.
A spokesman for the theatre would not confirm that the band was setting up at the theatre and would only confirm that the venue was booked for a private event. The CBC reported the space has been booked by a Upstaging, prominent video production company known for producing music videos.
Posters on Twitter and Internet forums have suggested that the band is shooting a video on the 20th anniversary of their Achtung Baby album.
