Universal South Forms Management Company

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Universal South Entertainment, parent company of Universal South Records, has formed an artist management division, called Universal South Artists (USA).

Marc Dottore, previously of M. Dottore Artist Management, will head the company, bringing with him clients Jessi Alexander and Kathy Mattea. USA has also recently signed Marty Stuart and Shooter Jennings. Brandon Maudlin and Dorian Stinson will join him at the company.

The company has announced that Universal South senior partners Tony Brown and Tim DuBois will also be involved with the management division, as well as a counsel of senior label staffers. The management division is being offered as an option all artists on the Universal South label, and specific artists on other labels. Of the original four artists, only Jennings is on the Universal South roster. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
