Vivendi Universal To Operate Olympia Concert Hall

French conglomerate Vivendi Universal has reached a deal to operate Paris' 2,000-seat famed Olympia concert hall. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Built in 1893, Elton John, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones are some of the artists that have performed at the central Paris venue.

Paulette and Patricia Coquatrix, the wife and daughter of the music hall's late founder, Bruno Coquatrix were the venue's previous operators.
