Widespread Panic has decided to continue on, according to the wishes of founding
member and lead guitarist Michael Houser, 40, who died August 10 of pancreatic
cancer. The band will perform three shows at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans
October 31-November 2.
As a living memorial to Houser, his family requests contributions in his memory be made to The Michael Houser Music Fund, which will benefit Athens
Academy, a school in Athens, GA that Houser and his family have been involved
