Pearl Jam Closes Carling Weekend: Reading Festival

READING (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Pearl Jam triumphantly returned to the festival scene, for the first time since the 2000 Roskilde accident, this past weekend, closing the Carling Weekend: Reading Festival in front of a huge audience.

“Take care of each other please,” front man Eddie Vedder told the crowd before the band started their set. “I know you can do it…we can do it, take care of each other, please.”

The group then launched into “Interstellar,” and before long the band started to relax and get into their groove.

Earlier in the evening, Placebo was forced to take a break mid-set due to some technical difficulties.

Leaving the stage for ten minutes, cameramen focused on female members of the audience who flashed their breasts on the giant screens surrounding the stage.

Explaining what happened afterwards, frontman Brian Moloko told the BBC News, “My guitar broke and I missed all the breasts!” –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
