Stephensen And Crandall To Bolster MSGE's Digital Offerings


NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — MSG Entertainment announced that Bill Crandall has been named senior vice president, digital content and Óli Stephensen has been named senior vice president digital products.

Mr. Crandall will oversee digital content creation for all of MSG's entertainment offerings, as well as directing the company's social media engagement efforts. Mr. Stephensen will focus on developing MSGE's digital business, including driving ticket, and sponsorship, as well as developing digital products such as games and mobile apps.

Mr. Crandall joins MSGE from a digital media background, working with firms such as Outbrain and consulting for AMC Networks. He also did a stint as head of digital content for Wenner Media where he oversaw digital content for Rolling Stone and Men's Journal. Mr. Crandall has also served as vice president, branded experiences for AOL/Huffington Post and general manager/editor-in-chief of AOL Music.

Mr. Stephensen, prior to signing on with MSGE, served as chief technology officer for both CBS Interactive Music Group and CBS Radio. He also launched Gangverk, a successful interactive broadcasting startu in his native Iceland.
