NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess) A crew member on the set of the Motley Crue biopic “The Dirt” was reportedly electrocuted on the film’s New Orleans set March 10.

The unnamed crewmember was rushed to the hospital after being electrocuted during production, according to TMZ. The crew member was apparently working on a rooftop when he got shocked. The man is a member of the off-set rigging crew and was de-rigging a set when the incident occurred, according to The Hollywood Reporter. His condition was unknown at press time but he was expected to recover.

“Even though all of our safety protocols were in place, an accident did occur and a crew member was injured by electricity,” a representative told THR.

Cast for the film includes Machine Gun Kelly, “Game of Thrones” villain Iwan Theon and Douglas Booth playing Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Nikki Sixx, respectively.  Vince Neil is portrayed by Daniel Webber (i.e., The Punisher). The movie is based off of the autobiography of the same name, as told to Neil Strauss.
