NEW SOUTH WALES, Australia (CelebrityAccess) Lorde had to take a quick break from her Splendour In The Grass performance this weekend because of what has obviously been dubbed a “wardrobe malfunction.”
The singer’s bra / top unsnapped during the performance but she handled the situation with professionalism and humor. Lorde was talking to the crowd, saying that her first-ever festival performance was Splendour in the Grass in 2013.
“I want to show you something crazy that just happened to me,” she said. “My shirt has become disconnected with my body.”
She displayed the unsnapped item and laughed.
“Will you give me a second to fix this and I’ll run back. This is crazy. Talk amongst yourselves,” and left the stage for a moment.
The appearance is expected to be Lorde’s only Australian performance for the year.
The two-day Splendour in the Grass also featured Kendrick Lamar, Vampire Weekend, James Bay and CHVRCHES among other performers.
