WASHINGTON D.C. (CelebrityAccess) — United Talent Agency announced on Wednesday (August 29th) that veteran agent William Lee has joined the agency’s speaker’s division.
Lee comes to UTA after a long tenure at Washington Speakers Bureau, where he most recently served as Vice President, Sales where his portfolio of clients included HSBC, NBC Universal and PIMCO.
At UTA, Lee will focus on expanding UTA’s footprint in the lucrative Washington D.C. speakers market, where UTA already reps clients such as Jim Acosta, Dana Bash, Anderson Cooper, Jake Tapper, Chuck Todd and Preet Bharara, among others.
Lee will be based in the Washington, DC area and report to Don Epstein, who co-founded and runs UTA’s speakers division, Greater Talent Network, which UTA acquired last fall, and GTN co-head David Evenchick.
Bringing on someone with Will’s experience and reputation in the Washington, DC marketplace is an important step for UTA as we expand and grow our client roster of former government officials, media and political thought leaders,” said Epstein. “There is no area of the speakers business that is more in-demand or exciting than the political and policy sector. It presents unlimited opportunities for us and our buyers and Will’s deep network and experience will be a game-changer.”
“I’m excited to begin working with UTA to help grow their speakers division in our nation’s capital,” added William Lee. “This will be a great opportunity to marry UTA’s talent with buyers and audiences eager to learn more about the issues facing their industries.”
