BERLIN (CelebrityAccess) Heiko Hoffmann has joined Beatport, a division of LiveStyle, as director of artist & label relations. Hoffman, who will work out of Beatport’s Berlin office, will oversee the company’s relationships with thousands of indie labels and artists.
Hoffmann was previously editor-in-chief of Germany’s Groove Magazine for 17 years and is a lecturer, curator and consultant. He also hosts shows on NTS Radio and German public radio station Fritz.
“The addition of Heiko to the team highlights Beatport’s ongoing commitment to independent dance music, maintaining our core value as a company for the industry, run by the industry,” Beatport Chief Product Officer Terry Weerasinghe said.
