WALLINGFORD, CT (CelebrityAccess) — A performance by Elvis Costello in Wallingford, Connecticut on Friday night has been canceled due to illness.
Elvis and the Impersonators were slated to perform at the Oakdale theater on Friday night but the show was canceled due to Elvis suffering from a throat infection.
His doctors have ordered a complete vocal rest for a quick recovery.
Costello’s next scheduled show is set for November 10th at the Wang Theatre in Boston and that’s still a go as of right now.
Live Nation invited ticketholders to seek a refund or hold on to their tickets while the show is rescheduled.
Costello has faced several health problems this year and in July, was forced to cancel his planned European tour while he underwent surgery to treat a “small but very aggressive cancerous malignancy.”
