LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Just days after she exited Island Records, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea announced she’s signed a new deal worth $2.7m.]

According to a tweet from the “Bodak Yellow” rapper, the deal includes 100% ownership of her masters and the ability to sign other artists.

“I’m feeling like such a bossy grown ass bitch today!” she tweeted. “Time to get back to ME. I’m so grateful & excited… ”

In a subsequent tweet, she noted that now that she owns her own masters, she “suddenly loves streaming services.”

Azalea did not offer any insight on which label she has signed with and said a formal announcement was coming “later in the week.”

Azalea announced in February that she’d signed with Island Records after parting ways with Def Jam, which had been her label home since 2014. Via Island, she released her fourth extended EP “Survive the Summer” after a planned album Digital Distortion was canceled.

Survive The Summer was not exactly a commercial hit and peaked at #144 on the Billboard 200 and 17 on the ARIA Digital Chart.
