LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — AEG Europe announced a trio of new appointments, naming John Langford as Chief Operating Officer, Paul Reeve as Chief Financial Officer, and Emma Bownes to the newly-created role of Vice President of Programming for AEG’s portfolio of European venues.
Both Langford and Reeve come from senior roles at major venues overseen by AEG Europe The O2 & The SSE Arena, Wembley, while Langford’s previous gig was Vice President and General Manager of The O2 in London. Bowen was most recently the Programming Director for AEG Europe.
The three appointments follow the news announced last month that Alex Hill has been named as President of AEG Europe, effective on the 1st of January.
Hill is stepping into the role recently vacated by Tom Miserendino, who announced plans to retire from the post in October.
AEG Europe’s venue portfolio includes major arenas across the region such as The O2 in London; The SSE Arena, Wembley; Hamburg’s Barclaycard Arena; Berlin’s Mercedes Benz Arena and Verti Music Hall; Stockholm Live; and AccorHotels Arena in Paris.
Commenting on the appointments, Alex Hill said: “I’m looking forward to working closely with John, Paul and Emma in continuing our vision of excellence across our portfolio of European Venues and other live entertainment and sports properties.”
