AUSTRALIA (CelebrityAccess) Olivia Newton-John has sent a short message to her fans that, despite reports to the contrary, she is not on her death bed.
Newton-John has battled cancer three times in her life and an announcement was made in September that doctors had discovered a tumor on the base of her spine. However, the media went several steps further with Radar Online citing an exclusive source, telling the mag, “Olivia’s bodily functions appear to be shutting down, but she refuses to let go until she makes it through (daughter) Chloe’s wedding day!”
The music icon allegedly told a “close pal” that, “I refuse to die in a hospital room. I”ll go on my own terms, in our home and in my own bed – but not until Chloe says ‘I do.'”
However, Newton-John, looking hearty, posted a Facebook message to her fans, disputing she was on her death bed.
“Happy New Year everyone. This is Olivia Newton John. The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated, to quote a very famous quote.”
She added, “Thank you all for your wonderful love and support for me and my Olivia Newton John Wellness Center in Melbourne, Australia. Thank you so much and happy new year.”
