CHINA (CelebrityAccess) – Chinese music streaming platform NetEase Cloud Music has announced a partnership with South Korea’s Cube Entertainment.
As one of South Korea’s largest entertainment companies, Cube encompasses everything from recorded music, publishing and music production to event management and concert production. The company also operates a talent agency.
Under the terms of the new agreement, NetEase, which is one of China’s largest digital music firms with over 600 million registered users, has been granted access to Cube’s complete music catalog, including albums and tracks from artists such as BTOB, CLC, PENTAGON, Yoo Seon-Ho and (G)I-DLE.
The partnership with Cube follows the company’s addition of licensing partnerships with other leading Korean-focused firms including JYP Entertainment, Big Hit Entertainment (which represents BTS), SM Entertainment and Loen Entertainment.
