OAKLAND, Calif. (CelebrityAccess) The aging Oakland Coliseum may have a new name for a couple of years before the California sports stadium is mothballed.

The Oakland Raiders are leaving the stadium for Las Vegas, and the Oakland A’s expect to move out of the facility and into a new home in 2023 yet, starting next baseball season, the building could be named RingCenteral Coliseum.

“It’s moving along. We’ll see in the next few weeks,” Scott McKibben, executive director of the Oakland-Alameda County Stadium Authority, told the San Francisco Business Times.

RingCentral is a Peninsula cloud communications technology company. The two parties haven’t yet discussed deal terms such as dollar amount and number of years, McKibben said, but company officials did a walkthrough of the building last month and McKibben has been to RingCentral’s Belmont headquarters “several times” in the past month.

If the deal goes through, it will be the second one in the Bay Area this year, with the San Francisco Giants and Oracle Corp. recently announcing a $100 million-plus, 20-year naming rights deal for what is now known as Oracle Park.
