LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Rich the Kid and his entourage came under fire during a possible robbery yesterday afternoon at the Westlake Recording Studio in Los Angeles, with as many as 10 shots being fired with a body guard being badly pistol-whipped.
Police say Usher was in the studio at the time but not hurt, according to TMZ. Rich was outside during the incident and was a possible target of a robbery. A man who opened fire was running away from the studio when he started shooting behind him, eyewitnesses said. Police cordoned off the blocks surrounding the studio; the suspects made off with cash and jewelry, sources told TMZ.
Usher appeared unharmed and representatives for Rich the Kid said the rapper is doing OK after the incident.
Rich the Kid was a victim of an armed home invasion robbery last year in Los Angeles, where he and his girlfriend, Tori Brixx, were both injured in the attack and where the attackers also made off with cash and jewelry.
Westlake Recording Studio is known for recording acts like Madonna, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, and Rihanna over the years.
