LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Rap and R&B icons Nelly, TLC, and Flo Rida announced they are teaming up for a package tour aimed at North American amphitheaters this summer.
Produced by Live Nation, the 21-city outing will kick off July 23 in Tuscaloosa, AL at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater and make stops in Atlanta, Toronto, Detroit, Austin and more before wrapping August 31 in Irvine, CA at FivePoint Amphitheatre.
While Nelly has not released new material in some time, Flo Rida, best known for his breakout hit Low, announced plans for a new album in early 2019. He released several new singles last year, including Dancer and Just Dance 2019 featuring “Sweet Sensation.”
TLC, which reunited in 2015, has much more recent material and in 2017, released the self-titled TLC, their first post-reunion album and the first since 2002’s 3D. However, the album failed to generate much enthusiasm with their fans and fell off the Billboard chart after just a week.
