WESTBROOK, Maine (CelebrityAccess) The 8,200-capacity Maine Savings Pavilion at Rock Row in Westbrook, Maine, is gearing up for its May 26 debut with Anderson .Paak.

The amphitheater, built near the city line of Portland, Maine, is built on the sie of a former gravel quarry and is the first component of Rock Row, a 100-acre business and residential project, according to the Portland Press-Herald. The summer lineup includes Slightly Stoopid, Young the Giant and Fitz and The Tantrums, Buddy Guy and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Shinedown. Joe Bonamassa, Alice Cooper and John Fogerty are also on the lineup.

Eleven shows have been announced so far, with three more booked but unnannounced.  Westbrook officials gave approval for 16 shows May through September.

The facility is operated by Bangor-based Waterfront Concerts, run by Alex Gray and which promotes shows at the 3,000-capacity Maine State Pier in Portland.

The district is expected to include housing and shopping. The developers have secured $14 million from the city and state to get tax-free financing to build Rock Row, the 2-million-square-foot project that would rebuild the old Westbrook Gravel quarry into a space filled with apartments, stores and concerts.

The first tenant, a grocery store, was announced last year.
