(CelebrityAccess) — According to the Baton Rouge newspaper The Advocate, U.S. District Judge Louis Guirola Jr. issued a default judgment against Boosie, ordering him to pay $233,128 to security officer Glen Kerley.

The default ruling came after Boosie reportedly failed to respond to hearings in the case and failed to respond to the court after his attorney dropped out of the case in March.

Kerley testified that he was assaulted by a group of Boosie’s entourage at Edgewater Mall in April 2017 while attempting to compel the group to leave the property.

Kerley sued Boosie, and Boosie’s bodyguard Larry Anderson, alleging assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, gross negligence and civil conspiracy.

Both Boosie and Anderson both counter-sued Kerley for abuse of the legal process, intentional interference with business relations, assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.
