The expanded SummerStage Anywhere series sponsored by AARP will feature a brand new exclusive 60-minute performances for the next four Thursdays, starting at 5PM EST.
Artists confirmed to date include:
October 15: The Cover Girls, a New York City based all female freestyle group
October 22: TKA, a Latin freestyle trio
October 29: salsa performance, TBA
In addition to performing, the artists will all participate in a live chat with fans on the AARP Facebook Page during the premiere broadcasts.
“SummerStage has become an important New York tradition. As a longtime sponsor of community events, educational programs and concerts, we wanted to do something special for music fans of all ages during this time,” said AARP New York State Director Beth Finkel. “We know that listening to music enriches people’s lives. A recent AARP survey of more than 3,100 adults who engage in music rated their quality of life and happiness as excellent and good, with lower average levels of anxiety and depression.”
